Tara Pulford, RN

Tara brings over 25 years of diverse Registered Nursing experience to Apex.  Throughout her career, she has journeyed through roles in labour and delivery, dialysis, travel nursing, case management, nurse education, and nurse management.  Tara values the lifelong learning approach as essential for personal and professional growth, routinely seeking opportunities to expand knowledge and skills.  Recently certified as a First Aid and CPR instructor, Tara is enthusiastic about exercising this accreditation with her nursing teams and community.

At Apex, Tara leads embedded occupational health nurse programs, leveraging her extensive expertise to drive enhancement and refine services to meet facility-specific needs, ensuring compliance with nursing standards, providing nursing education, and improving team cohesion to elevate the environment of care.

Day to day Tara draws inspiration from the quote by Scott Adam “Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.” Proudly raising three children with her husband, Tara cherishes family moments filled with laughter, adventure, and love.  When it’s time to unwind she enjoys diving into a good book, sharing dinner with friends, and exploring new destinations through travel. The opportunity to contribute and grow with Apex is a significant highlight of her career.
